He did about the same with his bottle feeding and OT, and now he'll get a break for the weekend. He only threw-up once today. We were happy about that! They turned down the oxygen so now he's just getting humidified room air. He desats just a little into the 80s and then bounces right back into the 90s. So again, more progress. Praise the Lord! We took cousin Charlotte for ice cream to celebrate more progress today.

Third Time's A Charm
Chase pulled out his NG feeding tube from his nose, again. This makes the third time this week. But the good thing is that they were able to get in the bigger, more stable NG tube that would be the NG tube he could go home with. I don't know how they were able to get it in since they had such a difficult time inserting the smaller one. I'm kind of glad I wasn't there when it happened because I'm sure it was probably pretty traumatic. But he ought to be somewhat used to it by now. I just hope he doesn't pull this one out. We can't figure out how he does it, especially since they've been using heavy duty tape across his whole face. Looks like Houdini strikes again! We weren't able to talk to the doctors about what this means now that he has this particular NG tube, the one they said they send babies home with. But we'll ask tomorrow if this changes anything and if this means we're closer to coming home.
