We took Chase to the pool for the first time today for a little dip. It was a little cool on his toes, but I think he liked it! :)

Too bad this summer is almost over!!! Can't wait to see you all in your new home!! Love, Jim & Vic
Welcome Home!! I poured water on my laptop at the beginning of July and I just got Russ to buy me a new one. I still thought of you all everyday and asked Chrissy for updates so I knew how you guys were doing. I've have been reading all the updates since July and I am so happy. He has come so far and has changed so much. I am so happy to see your picture of him in the stroller and you going for a walk. Whatever works for that fussy time I guess its better than sitting him on the washing machine on the spin cycle right?? hehehehe.
Good luck on the new house.
God Bless!!
Love Carrie and Russ Alexander
PS. You know he loved the water...we weren't on the swim team for years for our babies not to like the water. That's what I tell Alana and Mitchell. :)
Chase is having a great summer--walks, trips to Grandpa's, swimming! We continue to think about you and hope to see you this month. We'll call first since Chase is enjoying being out and about--and we'll need to know where your Kansas home is located! As someone else said before, remember your Tiger roots!
Katie and family, I have recently read your blog (thanks to Vic.) and wanted to let you know how wonderful it is. You have such a wonderful support system and family. I am so happy that you are home and do not have to rush back to work for a bit. Please know that Scott and I are thinking of you. Chase is absolutely beautiful (I know you are not supposed to say that about boys, but moms are allowed).
Sincerely,
Jami Voelmeck (Barbee).
Katie,
Your blog is just amazing. I just love seeing all the pictures of Chase. He is an amazing little guy! I have kept all of you in my prayers. I wish you all the best of luck finding a home in Kansas. Both of my sisters live in KS. (one in Overland Park and the other in Shawnee) Dave and I hope to be in KS soon.....If the Army lets him retire!
Sending warm hugs!
