-not the greatest pic, but he had such a big grin I had to post it :)
Chase is getting much more responsive to Chris and I. We can usually make him smile :) He's getting stronger and can almost hold his head up by himself. He likes laying on his tummy more now, and the trach doesn't seem to get in the way too much. We haven't received the felixible longer trach yet. Hopefully this week. That should make laying on his tummy even easier. The last few days Chase has decided he wants nothing to do with his bottle for some reason. Hopefully it's just a little phase. Physical therapy comes tomorrow, and occupational therapy again next week, so maybe they can help. We closed on our home in Kansas last week and have been spending alot of time getting it ready to move in. Chris accepted a job today and we're very happy about that! We'll actually be working right across the street from eachother so we can maybe car pool since it's kind of far from our new home. Hopefully we can find a home nurse we like to watch Chase once I go back to work. We meet with our Kansas case worker tomorrow and will discuss how that process works. Things seem to finally be starting to fall into place. Praise God!

You have been faithful in your walk with the Lord, and he has blessed your obedience. Praise God!I am so happy that things are working out for you. I keep all of you in my prayers each day, and I will continue to do so. Thank you for keeping all of us up to date, and showing us your sweet little cutie-pie.

Katie, so happy to hear things are happening for you all. Keep us posted on Chris's new job (congrats!) and the care workers. When I was interviewing nannies, I found it most helpful to encourage them to jump right in and hold C then I observed. Or even better if they come by this naturally and you don't even have to ask. You'll know in your heart when it's right...trust your gut.
Congrats Chris!! It really does seem like things are falling in to place for you guys. I hope all goes well with the move!
Love,
Robin
Either Chase is planning on a future as a magazine model or one of the Wilson family has an eye for when to get a picture of Chase that speaks volumes. I particulary like the ones when he smiles so broadly that I find myself smiling too.
Like Chase, I will be giving my blood to the "vampire" IV person on Sunday evening 9/14 in preparation for dbs(deep brain stimilation)surgery at KUMed Center 3901 Rainbow, KC, KS early on Monday 9/15. The bruises take a long time to disappear; and my hair will be buzzed off and it will probably be cold weather before I have need of a comb.
God Bless Chase and his family as he continues his journey. Trust in the Lord and He will keep you.

I was so glad to see you and your family out to dinner on Mon. evening. Your smile hasn't changed since third grade:) You have been in my thoughts and prayers. Chase is so cute, his little hands were just moving like he was waving - Sweet Little Baby hands- May God continue to bless you and your family,
