Welcome to Holland!

This poem was in Chase's hearing aid packet. I could really relate to it and wanted to share. It's still hard accepting the fact that we have a child with disabilities. Some days it's harder than others. But the fact remains that Chase is still beautiful, wonderful, and full of life....just like Holland :)

Life does lead us on journies and we sometimes end up in the different place. As I think about his last statement it makes so much sense...you might miss the real beautiful things. Chase is full of beautiful things just like you said and there will be so many beautiful things yet to come. Thanks for sharing the poem.

I enjoyed seeing you, Chase, and your mom and dad this weekend. I hope work has gone well for you this week and I'm glad your mom and Vic have been able to help out too.

We are always in your corner cheering you on.

i've been "visiting Holland" for 4 years now, with a gramma friend whose g/son was born same week as my Archer ("four and a HAFF" years ago), only Bret was much premature... i've forgotten how many weeks, months... we've become 'travel companions'... i hope i can find a way to send her that video, tho i know she'll cry even harder than i did... Bret's my sweetieheart and doing 'fine', by the way.... Holland's a tough place to live, so only the tough can go there.... and of course you can DO this: look how far you've come ALREADY!!!! YAY, CHASE!!!!!! AntSan K
