Chase was full of smiles and funny faces today. We tried to capture them on camera, but weren't fast enough. We are feeling pretty optomistic today. Chase had his upper GI test this morning, and we were excited to hear it went well and they saw no signs of reflux or aspiration! So they changed his feedings around to over 2 hours today and he tolerated it perfect, no throw-up. So tonight they're trying his feeds over 1 hour and will feed him every 3 hours, like he was on before. They're going to see how he does over the next couple days before they get occupational therapy involved again to try the bottle feeds. His chest x-ray and labs looked good. So we're getting there....slowly but surely!
You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.

So glad I got to see Chase today (oh, you too Katie but you know who the real "draw" is)--- when I came in, they asked how I was related to Chase & I just said, "I designated myself to be one of his God Mothers!!" They laughed but I've always though that would be neat to be & no one's ever asked so........Love, Vic & Jim too
Katie and Chris,
Glad to hear that there continues to be good news for Chase. And how gret the be upgraded to a crib -- it's truly the little things that can make a huge difference. You all are doing an amazing job with Chase and he's blessed to have such wonderful parents.
Hang in there and give Chase a big hug from us in Virginia!
Beth and Dave
We are so glad to hear that he's doing well. We can't wait until he gets to go home with you (and then to Clinton to visit everyone!). We think about him everyday and send good thoughts your way.
