Chase took 4 full bottles so far today, and gained an ounce. He slept pretty sound most of the day too, which is good because they said he was awake most of the night. We brought in a new toy for him today that attaches to his crib and lights up and plays music. When he's awake now, he seems so much more alert and seems to know what is going on around him, and seems to recognize Chris and I. Which by the way makes it even more difficult to leave him, but I think he'll enjoy his new toy.

We continue to appreciate the Chase stories--bottles, removing the tubes, enjoying his toys! He is working hard to get ready to go home! We'll be visiting soon.
