Chase had his kidney ultrasound this morning and everything looked good. The blood tests they checked looked fine as well. They also did an echocardiogram to look at his heart, and sent out a few additional blood tests to see if they can figure out why the episodic high blood pressures. But they still don't seem that worried about it. He drank 45 mls from his bottle this morning and 50 mls tonight, and kept it all down. So he's doing pretty well with that. Chris spoke with the new attending physician this morning and it sounds like we'll sit down with them later this week to come up with a plan. They've had two weeks now to evaluate his feeding progress, so we'll see if Chase can go home with the NG feeding tube, or the gastrostomy tube (G-tube), or what they think. He's made alot of progress with the bottle feeds, but he still needs some via NG tube. Chris and I have pretty much mastered the trach care and trach change, so we fell pretty comfortable with that. Although it might be a whole different experience when we're on our own without the nurse right there if we need her.

Chase looks great!! So peaceful. Katie-Your clinic pals here in Cincy read Chase's blog every day and we are so grateful for the progress he has made. We will have a big tub of Graeter's on "going home day"!!!

Chase is changing so fast. He looks like a bigger boy than we met last week! We loved seeing you and meeting the little guy. Our prayers continue with you--hopefully home with you soon!
