Chase is 7lbs 2oz..yay! He finally broke that 7 lb mark. He did well with his bottle feeding today. He had quite a bit of emesis yesterday, but today it was much less. Chase's blood pressure has always ran kind of border line high. So they want to check his kidneys to see if that could be the cause. They tested his urine yesterday for different things and the only thing abnormal was the urine pH which was a little high. So they've ordered a renal consult for Monday and will likely do a renal ultrasound for further evaluation. They don't seem overly concerned. Hopefully it's nothing, or something that's an easy fix!
We're ready to get him home. It was tough not having him with us when we were with friends and family for the 4th of July festivities. I look forward to next year!

Great news that he broke 7 lbs. We saw Angie & Matt Lowe last night. Angie told me to tell you that Chase is in her prayers. Love, Lizzi

We'll save a spot in our wagon for Chase next year in the 4th of July parade -- he will be so big by then! Congrats on another milestone. He just keeps thriving!
Congrats on the big 7 lb mark Chase! You rock star! :)
He'll be a cutie in red, white and blue - waving a flag for sure! !
Way to go all of you - you're doing great. Thanks for keeping us in the loop with this site, it's great.
Count on being in Clinton for 2009 Olde Glory Days. It is certainly fun to be around for that time.
Sounds like Chase is growing and that is a good sign.
Will I be able to stand in line to hold Chase when he i s well and comes to UMC with you?
