The inspection on the Kansas house went well, so we will likely close on it Friday of next week. There were a few things that need to be fixed, but nothing Dad says he can't handle :) Thank goodness for Dad!
Chase's appointment with neurosurgery went well too. They did a neurological exam, tested his reflexes, and said everything seems to be fine. They told us some things to look out for as he grows that could be a sign there is pressure on his spinal cord. These included things like stiff arms/legs, and difficulty breathing or swallowing. They don't want to see us back until there becomes a problem. So hopefully as Chase grows, so does the C1 vertebrae and the space around the spinal cord. They weighed Chase and he's up to 9lbs 2oz. Next week we see the Hearing and Speech Clinic as well as Dr. Gratny. It's always such an eye opening experience at Children's. We have SO much to be thankful for!!!
It's 7:00pm :) Time for a walk!

Thanks for the pictures! What part of Kansas are you moving to?
Just remember your ROOTS & don't become KU Fans haha!!! The look on Chase's face sure brings back memories of the "evening fussy time!" Sounds like you've found a great solution! Anxious to see your new home!!! Let us know what we can do to help with the move! Love, Jim & Vic
We have so enjoyed your pictures!
The Tue. picture of Chase laughing is priceless. We will keep our fingers crossed that your
house sells quickly.
What a day of lovely news! You look fantastic, by the way, Katie! Chase's smile continues to melt my heart! :)
Katie- I have a question for you... will you e-mail me, please? I don't have your address.

Wow! So much has happened while we've been in WI! Chase's evening behavior isn't the least bit unusual and brings back memories here, too. House, Clinton, big smiles--keep the good news coming!
