It's been a crazy week. We put our house on the market :( And we made an offer on a house in Kansas today. We found out yesterday that there are only 22 of 407 spots left for the Kansas Medicaid waiver for which we are moving. So we were told we should move sooner rather than later. Chase was such a trooper as we house hunted all week! We're really going to miss this house and this area, but the move will be worth it in the long run.
I met with my directors at work today to decide when I need to start back. They're giving me until September 29, so I have a little more time to stay home with Chase. Yay!!!
Chase does so well in his car seat and in the car, we may venture to Clinton this weekend. Family road trip :)

I hope everything is going great for chase now and you too, I found you online googling chondrodysplasia punctata, which my son also has. My son Evan was born 3/8/08. He was also born without a nasal bridge and was in UNMC NICU for a few weeks when he was born and our doctors did surgery on his nasal airway to widen it when he was 2 days old. God Bless you guys and I'm sure everything will turn out just fine.
Hope the house hunting and the selling of your house turns out well for you. Did you make it to Clinton? I was with my daughter and we went to Independence to see the movie "Mama Mia". Great movie and then we went shopping and found some summer sales.
Glad you will have rest of Sept to be with your son. Every working mom from the present to the past will say how tough it is to leave the baby with even the most talented sitter when you KNOW you can do a much better job if you didn't have to work. Funny thing is, all the babies left with sitters do manage quite well and even thrive when the sitter is a good one.
