Take me out to the ballgame !

Size 0-3 months...what?!?!

Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks...

We had fun dressing up Chase in his Chicago Cubs outfit from good friends Eric and Lisa. And it's one he won't outgrow anytime soon :) We think the size 0-3 months shorts were misbranded, but I guess baggy is in, right?!? Someday we'll take Chase to Wrigleyville. Anyway, we couldn't stop laughing at how big these shorts were on him and how cute he looked.
We ventured out of the house yesterday with Chase and decided to drop in for a visit at St. Luke's NICU where it all began. It was great seeing some the nurses and people who helped care for Chase early on. They were happy to see how big he is now. It was easier to get Chase out and about than Chris and I thought. The stroller we recieved from Children's and the Fox 4 Love Fund has shelves on the back so it's easy to stick the monitors back there and take off. We're trying to think of where we can take him next.

Katie and Chris,

I quit writing in your blog because now that you are home, I would rather talk to you in person. But, those shorts are hilarious.

Love,
Aunt Shari

Keep practicing on those outings! This weekend we're heading to Leah's for a while, but when we get home we'll be ready for a Chase visit!! I vote for a trip to Liberty for ice cream! You're always welcome here. We'll keep you in our prayers in Wisconsin!!

Hey guys,

Just catching up with you... Chase looks GREAT and it sounds like you guys are doing well. We are so happy for you guys. We remember how nice it is to NOT make those trips to the NICU. We may give you a call sometime next week. I am actually doing a rotation this month in the NICU where Anson and Finley were, so I am seeing some of the nurses and doctors who took care of them. It is a little surreal, but you are right, it goes fast. If you guys need anything, we are a phone call away, please just let us know. Thanks for keeping us updated on your family. We still think of you daily and are SO HAPPY Chase is finally home and doing so well.

Love,
The McFarlands
