We had a neighborhood Halloween parade and party. We dressed Chase up as an Chili Pepper, and Max as a Bumble-Bee :) We had a fun time and were able to meet several of our neighbors. Chase seems to be the youngest in the neighborhood. We're told they call this area the Brookside of the South. Most families move out here when their kids are school age. So who knows, maybe in a few years we'll get some of our Brookside neighbors back :) Chase did GREAT today, and really seemed to be comfy cozy in his costume. Max on the other hand didn't last too long in his costume, but long enough for the parade. Chase has been pretty good all weekend. We've lined up a care attendant, Scott, to come a couple nights a week and an occasional weekend to allow Chris and I time to unwind a bit after work and possibly go out to dinner sometimes. Really the only time Chase gets fussy is in the evening. So the biggest challenge has been coming home from work and trying to get everything done while consoling Chase and taking care of him. Scott will help tremendously with this! I can't wait! We also bought one of those Baby Bjourn things, so at least I'll be hands free when he's fussy and I need to carry him. It's all about multi-tasking :)
Enjoy the pics!

I'm happy your settling in with your new neighborhood. It sounds like a fantastic area. I love his Halloween outfit. Have a great week and enjoy all the candy for trick or treating. :)

Chase is by far the cutest little pepper I've seen! So glad you had a fun weekend and got to meet some neighbors. We drove by your old house yesterday and Nadia asked if we could visit Mr. Katie and Miss Chris. :) Have a great week!

I love that you were able to dress up Chase AND Max for Halloween. I'm going to try and get Pumpkin (my cat) in a pumpkin outfit. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I've given up on Pie! :-)

What wonderful news we found on your blog--moved, sold, waived. Chase is a precious pepper, the house is lovely, and your smile says it all, Katie! We've been on the road almost three weeks seeing the wild and wonderful western US. We continue to think about you and pray for you.
