Easter

We kicked off Easter weekend with cousin Becca and family. It was fun seeing little Jack and Chase play and interact. Chase is finally sitting up independently...Yay! He tips over every now and then, but each day he gets a little better. He's getting a little closer to crawling now too. He scoots and/or rolls to get around. Just in the last week or two, he seems to have really progressed with things. His Pasy Muir valve (the speaking valve) that goes on his trach, he wore for 30 minutes, which is a new record. Just a couple weeks ago he would only tolerate it for a couple minutes. We're struggling with the hearing aids because he pulls them out as soon as you put them in. He's doing great with baby food and seems to like every flavor. We go to the doctor Wednesday, so we hope to get a good report. Hopefully they will adress the procedure they mentioned in February that could potentially allow him to get rid of the trach...we'll see.
Easter gives me hope. Just thinking about Jesus's death and resurrection, how can you not have hope.
